Info
Nessa Barrett lands in Copenhagen on March 18, 2027, as she takes the stage at Poolen with her dark pop universe, where emo, alternative rock and dark pop meet. She writes with a close-to-the-body honesty and sings straight from the gut about mental health, love, self-destruction, and all the things that swirl in your head when you’re trying to find yourself.
Live, you can expect a set that alternates between melancholic ballads and more driving tracks with distorted guitars and contemporary pop production. With releases such as the EP Pretty Poison, the debut album young forever, and the later hell is a teenage girl, she has built a sound that is both intimate and raw, and that works particularly strongly in a live setting. The evening at Poolen will be a chance to hear the songs unfold with extra edge, immediacy, and intensity.
