On May 15, 2027, Greta Van Fleet will visit the Olympia Hall in Munich with ‘Into The Beginning’. The Michigan-based band stands for hard rock with blues and prog edges: prominent guitars, a driving rhythm section, and Josh Kiszka with his distinctive, high-pitched voice that recalls 70s classic rock without becoming a copy. In the set, you can expect a span from early, direct numbers to the larger, more atmospheric moments of the albums, which, most recently with Starcatcher, have moved further toward spaciousness, dynamism, and longer arcs of tension. Live, it feels like a stream of riffs, breaks, and sing-along refrains, constantly in motion.
As support, Larkin Poe will be there: Rebecca and Megan Lovell bring blues rock from Georgia to the stage, with electric slide guitar, lap steel, and two-part harmonies. Their sound sits between roots, groovy rock, and a pinch of psychedelia—raw, yet at the same time very precise. A pairing that will already heat up the Munich evening before the headliner.
