Info
With Court-Circuit #20, Bass Drum of Death arrives at L'Ampérage in Grenoble on October 15, 2026. Born around John Barrett in the Oxford, Mississippi scene, the project began as a solo affair recorded in a rush, before taking shape on stage as a band with a flexible lineup. The promise remains the same: taut garage rock, on the edge of punk and noise, built from short songs, abrasive guitars, and dry, driving rhythms.
After EPs that laid the groundwork, Bass Drum of Death has followed with albums and tours, with that taste for a direct, rugged sound that sticks to the live performance. Revived in the late 2010s, the band has continued to feed its discography up to Say I Won’t (2023), without losing that lo-fi nerve and that sense of immediate impact. In Grenoble, you can expect a no-holds-barred set, crafted for the electricity of the venue and the energy of a crowd up close.
