On May 27, 2027 at The Fleece in Bristol, LOVE return to the stage for the Forever Changes 60th Anniversary Tour, built around a full performance of the 1967 album that still defines their singular Los Angeles sound. Led by founding guitarist Johnny Echols, this long-running live line-up keeps the focus where it belongs: sharp guitars, tense melodies, and those vocal harmonies that made Love, Da Capo and Forever Changes such a turning point between garage punch, folk-rock sweetness and psychedelic edges.
Beyond the album played front to back, the set opens up their wider catalogue with key tracks from Love, Da Capo and Four Sail, plus deeper cuts and a few left-field turns. Echols’ playing stays central throughout, bringing a direct, no-frills energy to songs that were never meant to sit behind glass.
Joining him is Baby Lemonade, the band that backed Arthur Lee from 1993 until 2006, keeping this repertoire alive on the road and giving the night a link to the later chapters of Love’s story.
