Info
On September 30, 2026, the Joséphine Prize takes up residence at L’Olympia in Paris, for an evening conceived as a live showcase: ten finalists perform in sequence, each defending two or three tracks from the selected album. Across the short sets, we move from pop to the gentle irony of wine to the direct and hybrid writing of Camille Yembe, between song, electro and rap energy. LYNN brings back her sense of storytelling, somewhere between French-language song and bossa nova, while Jowee Omicil unfolds his improvisational jazz, threaded with Caribbean grooves and collective energy. We also encounter Chassol’s playgrounds, Gildaa’s hybrid and frontal performances, 23wa’s club- and bass-driven shocks, the East–West fusion of Sarāb, not forgetting 15 15. At the end of the performances, the artist jury, chaired by Pomme, announces Album of the Year 2026, while the 18–20-year-old jury reveals its choice.
