On October 29, 2026, General Levy hits Komedia in Bath for a night built around voice, pace, and pure sound system culture. A British MC with deep roots in ragga and dancehall, he’s also one of the key figures who helped link those styles to the rush of jungle and drum & bass.
Levy’s signature is that rapid-fire flow and clipped phrasing, the kind of toasting that rides a riddim like it’s elastic. Raised in West London in a community shaped by reggae and Black culture, he came up with a strong sense of rebel music, learning his craft early and building his own sound system as a teenager.
