Info
On November 14, 2026 at Slay Glasgow, Master Boot Record brings its “computer metal” vision to life: heavy metal energy rewired through chiptune and demo scene culture. Founded in 2016 by Italian musician Victor Love, MBR turns synth lines into razor-edged riffs and builds tracks around the aesthetics of BIOS screens, file systems and network protocols. On stage, the project expands into a full-band setup, backed by retro machines like the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500, with visuals that dive straight into classic videogame imagery and legendary demo productions.
Fulci lands with a death metal set shaped like a horror film. Named after Italian director Lucio Fulci, the band mixes 90s-style weight, tight riffing and tempo switches with cinematic atmospheres, interludes and samples that push the storytelling side of their songs.
Arottenbit opens the night by turning a Game Boy into a blunt instrument, cutting through chiptune, sludge, hardcore punk and techno with a fast, saturated approach built for impact.
