Jahneration arrives at La Nef in Angoulême on March 6, 2027, with their distinctive blend—between modern reggae, hip‑hop and dancehall nods. Formed in Paris in the early 2010s, the duo has built its identity on tracks where rap flows meet sung lines and melodic refrains, all carried by productions that range from rootsy roots to more digital textures.
On stage, the energy comes as much from tracks that move straight ahead (more uptempo) as from more introspective moments, in a set that draws on their albums Jahneration (2016), Stuck in the Middle (2019) and Higher (2021). English and French respond to one another, in the way of moving from a rapped verse to a unifying chorus without forcing it. A date designed for live performance, where their formula really comes to life.
