Info
On November 15, 2026, Robert Glasper lands at Blue Note London for a set that sits right where contemporary jazz meets hip-hop, R&B and soul. Raised between church music and Houston’s local scene before sharpening his chops in New York, Glasper plays with a grounded sense of groove that keeps the improvisation tight and the melodies close to song form.
From his early trio run (Mood, Canvas, In My Element, Double-Booked) to the more electric, vocal-friendly Robert Glasper Experiment era on the Black Radio series and ArtScience, he’s made a habit of switching formats without losing the thread: post-bop language, modern beats, and a producer’s ear for texture. Expect a live show that moves between piano-led freedom and beat-driven sections, with the kind of rhythmic patience that leaves room for surprises, but never drifts away from the pulse.
