Info
Paul Young brings his signature blend of blue-eyed soul, soft rock and sleek 80s pop to the Canal Court Hotel in Newry on June 25, 2027. Rising from the UK pub-rock and R&B circuit before breaking out solo, he’s built a live set that plays on his soulful, melodic phrasing and his taste for well-chosen songs, whether they’re originals or carefully reworked classics. Expect a show shaped by the era of No Parlez, The Secret of Association and Between Two Fires, where his biggest hits sit naturally next to deeper cuts from later albums like Other Voices and The Crossing. Over the years he’s widened the frame with more American-leaning sounds and roots influences, and that openness still feeds the way he performs: smooth, direct, and built around the voice. In Newry, it’s the kind of concert that leans into groove, restraint, and songs you already know by heart.
