On November 19, 2026, Strawberry Guy lands at The Opera House in Toronto for a set built around his warm, keyboard-led indie pop. The Liverpool-based Welsh musician (Alexander Morgan Stephens) writes songs that sit somewhere between bedroom pop, dream pop and a light touch of psychedelia: soft chords, hazy harmonies, and melodies that feel intimate without trying too hard.
Since launching the project in 2018, he’s shaped a sound that’s as much about atmosphere as it is about songwriting. Tracks like “Mrs Magic” helped open the door to a wider audience, and the debut album Sun Outside My Window (2021) confirmed his taste for lo-fi textures and gentle, melancholic pop built around voice and keys. More recently, he’s revisited parts of his catalog with string and stripped-down versions, giving his songs extra space to breathe.
