Info
On April 30, 2027, Daan will settle into Muziekgebouw Eindhoven with a set that has long balanced between rock, pop, electro and a danceable drive, always with that cinematic edge. Around Daan Stuyven, the project unfolds like a genuine band: guitars and synths slide in and out, with tight pulses, clear choruses and room for atmosphere. Don't expect a single, unambiguous style, but a journey through his different periods: from the sturdy, angular songs that put him on the map in the early 2000s to the more cinematic tones that emerge more prominently later. Daan enjoys playing with language and sound, so English can seamlessly blend into French or a touch of Dutch, without breaking the flow. Live, the tension lies in that mix of rhythm and melody, with arrangements that feel both direct and layered.
