Info
Wet Wet Wet bring their "Celebrating 40 Years of 'Popped In Souled Out'" show to the New Theatre in Peterborough on February 8, 2027, looking back at the record that first put their Clydebank soul-pop on the map. Expect a set built around that early mix of white-soul grooves, clean pop-rock drive and big, singable choruses, with room for the band’s later eras too.
From their R&B-leaning roots to the orchestral ballads that became a signature, Wet Wet Wet’s live sound has always hinged on strong melodies and a frontman who can sell a line without overdoing it. This anniversary date is a chance to hear how those late-80s songs have held up onstage, alongside the staples that followed and kept them on UK radios for decades.
Support comes from The South, warming things up before Wet Wet Wet take over.
