Brudenell & Please Please You presents Admiral Fallow at The Crescent.

Admiral Fallow (Louis Abbott, Kevin Brolly, Phil Hague, Sarah Hayes and Joe Rattray) released their debut album Boots Met My Face in 2011, its successor Tree Bursts In Snow the following year, a third record, Tiny Rewards, in 2015, and their fourth studio album The Idea of You in 2021. Their fifth LP First Of The Birds was released in October 2025, continuing the band’s partnership with Glasgow label Chemikal Underground.

Approaching their twentieth year as a band, Admiral Fallow have never made a record in the way they have here, and the resulting work finds a way of both defining and redefining the scope of the group in 2026 and beyond.

Admiral Fallow’s recent live appearances include two UK tours, numerous festival shows and four nights supporting The Proclaimers at their Back In The Big Top summer series. In winter 2023 the band performed two anniversary gigs at Glasgow’s King Tut’s, to mark the vinyl reissue of their debut album on their own label, First Name Unknown.

Over their 19 years together, Admiral Fallow have taken their music around the world, touring the UK, Europe, North America and Australia. Further career highlights include a commission from Glasgow Film Festival, performing with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and creating a chamber opera. Navigate The Blood was co-written with Gareth Williams and Sian Evans and toured eight Scottish distilleries in November 2018.

The band members also find the time to tour and record with artists such as Camera Obscura, Field Music, Kris Drever, Karine Polwart and many others.
