Info
On 14 November 2026, An Evening with Chicane lands at O2 Academy Glasgow for a deep dive into Nicholas Bracegirdle’s melodic take on electronic music. Active since the mid-90s, Chicane sits at the crossroads of trance, progressive house, ambient and balearic moods, with tracks built on wide pads, clean melodic hooks and that sun-faded club atmosphere he’s known for.
Expect a set that moves between instrumental rush and more song-driven moments, pulling from the long arc of his catalogue: early landmarks like “Offshore” and “Saltwater”, the crossover edge of “Don’t Give Up”, and later chapters from albums such as Behind the Sun, Somersault, Giants, The Place You Can’t Remember, the Place You Can’t Forget, Nevertheless and Trampolines. A night for anyone into electronic music that’s less about brute drops and more about melody, space and flow.
