Elder Island are coming to Berlin to perform at Heimathafen Neukölln on November 19, 2026. The Bristol-based trio consisting of Katy Sargent, Luke Thornton and David Havard has been moving fairly comfortably between indie pop and electronic music since the mid-2010s: warm downtempo grooves, funky basslines, airy synth textures and a songwriting that leans more on rhythm and atmosphere than on grand gestures. Live, the band plays precisely with this tension between concert intimacy and club energy, the same tension you can hear on their albums The Omnitone Collection (2019) and Swimming Static (2020). At Heimathafen Neukölln, this should work especially well: tracks that layer, gradually build pressure and then tip into a clear, danceable pulse, without losing the focus on Katy's voice. An evening for all who love melody but don't want to miss out on movement.
