Info
On February 3, 2027, HENGE lands in Melkweg, Amsterdam, with their own kind of cosmic rock: a collision of psychedelia, space rock, electro and avant-pop that they themselves call 'cosmic dross'. Live, that sounds like tight synth lines, a bass that keeps pushing, motor-driven drums and guitars with a biting edge, somewhere between song structure, repetitive trance and controlled chaos.
Since the Cosmic Dross EP (2017), the Manchester-based band has steadily built further on that universe with Attention Earth! (2018), ExoKosm (2020), Alpha Test 4 (2023), and Journey to Voltus B (2025). On stage the four step into their sci-fi characters Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom: not as a gimmick, but as part of one continuous story, with visuals and their own mythology that extends beyond the music. Expect a set that hits hard with rhythm, repetition and distortion, and that will lift you from gravity for a moment.
