Expect a set built on the classics from the 1976–1977 run: breakneck tempos, distorted riffs, blunt hooks and lyrics aimed straight at institutions and complacency, with the raw rock’n’roll backbone that made Never Mind the Bollocks such a one-shot statement.
Fronting this lineup, Frank Carter brings his own punk pedigree and live-wire delivery, shaped by years in Gallows and later with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. His voice and presence lean into the physical side of these songs, keeping them tense and immediate rather than nostalgic.
Opening the night, Cardiff five-piece Panic Shack warm up the room with concise, nervy punk at the crossroads of post-punk and indie, all dry guitars, tight rhythms and shouted choruses, with lyrics drawn from everyday frictions and a sharp sense of humour.
