Info
Walter Trout brings his electric blues-rock to The Brook in Southampton on Friday 16 October 2026. A guitarist and singer shaped by Chicago blues and the punch of ’60s rock, he’s the kind of player who builds songs from the inside out: tough grooves, raw vocals, and long guitar lines that stretch without losing the thread. Known for a setlist that moves between gritty standards and his own material, Trout often shifts gears from driving, band-led blues to slower ballads where the lyrics hit closer to home. Since launching his solo career with Life in the Jungle and carrying it through albums like Blues for the Modern Daze, The Blues Came Callin’ or Battle Scars, he’s kept writing personal, straight-to-the-point songs that feel made for the stage. Expect a night that leans on feel, dynamics, and the kind of lived-in playing you can’t fake.
