Info
On October 6, 2026, at the Espace Culturel d’Avoine, Alain Chamfort will take the stage to present L’Impermanence, a new chapter in a career that has spanned French song for more than half a century. He began as a pianist, passed through the yé-yé groups of the 1960s before going solo, and he built his line with pop elegance and a sense of detail that has never really wavered, even as the eras around him changed.
This concert highlights what makes his work strong: a clear writing style, a keen eye on his time, and music that advances in delicate touches, between collaborations and more personal aspirations. It will also reflect the lasting influence of his defining encounters, notably with Serge Gainsbourg in the 1970s, which left an enduring mark on his identity. An evening to reconnect with a familiar repertoire, and to hear how Chamfort continues it today, without affectation or nostalgia.
