On November 7, 2026, The Workman’s Club in Dublin hosts a night built around two US producers who know how to keep house music intimate without killing the groove.
dj poolboi brings his slow-to-midtempo lo-fi house: soft drums, hazy textures, melancholic pads and that dreamy pop edge he’s been pushing since 2017. First noticed online with “we can be happy”, he’s kept refining a sound that sits between deep house and instrumental electronica, with a growing taste for more song-shaped, indie-leaning crossovers. Expect a set that works as much on atmosphere as on movement, in that nostalgic, late-night zone.
sunflwr comes in with warm, melodic electronics and a groove-first approach shaped by bass and piano. Raised around the San Francisco Bay and now based in Los Angeles, he plays with lo-fi textures, colorful moods and expressive low-end, pulling from pop, hip-hop hints and downtempo climates. The result lands somewhere between club-ready cuts and everyday listening, with melodies always in front.
