Medium Build lands in Copenhagen on 17 March 2027, as Nicholas Carpenter takes the Vega stage with his project that balances alternative pop and classic singer‑songwriter in a raw, direct format. The music draws on indie rock, folk, and a hint of country, but it is the stories that carry it all: intimate observations, small hurts, and sharp details delivered without unnecessary frills.
Carpenter has since 2016 built Medium Build from the early releases such as Falling Apart to Softboy and Roughboy and on to Wild, and in recent years he has broadened the sonic palette with the EP Health and the album Country. Live you can expect songs that range between the intimate and the more forward-driving, like a set that feels like a conversation, but with band energy behind it. After tours with acts such as Lewis Capaldi and FINNEAS, he is ready to give Copenhagen an evening focused on the songs and the stories behind them.
