After settling in at L’Elysée Montmartre in Paris on 23 March 2027, with a date announced as 'The Electronic Soul', Ignacio Fornés Olmo stands as a distinctive figure in Spanish hip-hop. Since the mid-1990s, he has built a rap in which everything starts from the text: storytelling, introspection, social critique, and a clear diction that makes you want to listen to every sentence rather than chase after effects. On stage, one can expect to encounter this dense, narrative rap that runs through his albums, from Poesía difusa to Ars Magna – Miradas, from Un día en Suburbia to Mejor que el silencio. And also his taste for a more declamatory mode of speech, between slam and spoken word, which he explored on Los Viajes Inmóviles, before returning to a more frontal form on A través de mí and the following works.
