On October 2, 2027, Ycare settles in at Confluence in Avignon with his "Resilience Tour". Born in Dakar and based between West Africa and the Parisian scene, he champions Francophone pop where melodies grab quickly and the lyrics stay at the heart.
Revealed to the general public in 2008, Ycare has built a repertoire that moves between acoustic-guitar ballads and more electric forays. From Au bord du monde to Des millions d’années, including Lumière noire and La Somme de tout ça, he explores modern, intimate songwriting, often oriented toward connections, breakups and what one keeps when everything moves.
On stage, he can shift from a pared-down format to a sharper, more electric arrangement, with a direct, front-facing performance, driven by precise writing. A date conceived as a moment of songs told up close, to be experienced live in Avignon.
