On 19 September 2026, a good portion of the Riotvan world will gather at Kater Blau in Berlin, alongside guests who feel at home somewhere between quirky disco, house and techno. To celebrate the Leipzig label’s history, the lineup becomes a small journey through different facets of club music.
Red Axes arrive with their characteristic hybrid of electronic drive and rock-inflected sensibilities: post-punk edges, New Wave hues, psychedelic moments, and a sense of song structures that also shines through in DJ or live contexts.
Shubostar complements this with their cosmic disco focus: Italo- and New Wave references, warm synth textures, simple, catchy riffs, and a tempo that pushes forward with groove rather than rushing.
For the latter stretch of the night, Peter Invasion and Panthera Krause will play back-to-back, while Dana Ruh carries the afterhour spirit with a clear, elegant selection and a confident arc of tension.
