On September 19, 2026, the Studio Zürich will be defined by a single handwriting: Kalabrese will play an all-night-long set and take the time to truly tell the floor's story rather than simply blasting through it. Behind the name is Sacha Winkler, a Zurich-based DJ, producer and musician who has been building his own thing between club culture and live feeling since the 2000s.
Musically, he moves with ease between house, disco and funk, yet he also lets in organic grooves, slightly off-kilter electronic pop, and song-like moments. Those who know Kalabrese know: this is not a straight genre line, but a personal universe where warm grooves, vocal passages and hypnotic phases sit side by side. Tracks and albums like Rumpelzirkus or Independent Dancer stand for exactly this blend of groove, texture and individuality.
All-night-long here means: build-up, detours, tempo changes—and again and again that rumpel groove, which turns a night at Studio Zürich into a journey.
