Friday, September 11, 2026 marks the start of the thirteenth season of Genau, with a new cycle of events dedicated to techno and clubbing in their most authentic and contemporary forms. The opening party at Gianca Club will feature Isabel Soto as special guest—a DJ and producer with a deep, hypnotic sound, on labels such as Ostgut Ton and Semantica. Completing the lineup are residents Denis Ditalia and Gandalf, who, as is tradition for the season's first event, will celebrate his birthday together with the Genau community.
Born in Venezuela and now based in Berlin, Isabel Soto defined her artistic identity within Montréal's electronic scene. It was there that she developed a sonic language balancing rhythm and atmosphere, where essential structures and abstract textures give form to precise, immersive techno oriented toward the dancefloor.
As a DJ, producer and founder of Nyxii Records, she released the EP Morphosis in 2025 on Ostgut Ton, followed in 2026 by Redespertar on Semantica Records. In recent years her path has taken her to perform in clubs and festivals across Europe, the Americas and Australia, and to be a recurring presence in Berghain's Klubnacht.
Her connection with some of the leading figures of contemporary techno is reflected in collaborations with artists such as Claudio PRC, with whom she has shared several booths and B2B sets. In 2026 Oscar Mulero also selected her for the lineup curated by him at the Stone Techno Festival, alongside artists such as DVS1, Luigi Tozzi and Philippa Pacho.
