Built by Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, Maribou State’s sound sits at the crossroads of electronic music and live-feeling textures: organic percussion, warm keys, soulful vocal fragments and that cinematic haze they’re known for. In a DJ set, they push that palette further, moving naturally from downtempo and slow-burning house to disco-tinted grooves and sharper cuts from the UK club continuum.
