Rap, jazz and sound experimentation thread through a night at BASE Milano, as two of the new Italian scene's offerings are brought into dialogue. Fresh Mula, an Italo-Senegalese rapper and performer, brings to the stage a writing that fuses hip hop, jazz and Afro influences; Deaf Kaki Chumpy, an eighteen-piece Milan-based collective, explores contemporary jazz through an orchestral language that interweaves prog rock, electronics, black music and folk.
