On April 10, 2027, Talco will arrive at Circolo Magnolia in Novegro-Tregarezzo with their ska-punk 'punkchanka': a blend of punk rock, Mediterranean folk, and that patchanka that the band has carried forward since the early 2000s, always driven by a brass section at the forefront. Live, their sound moves fast and stays danceable, between tight riffs, tempo changes, and choruses that quickly become crowd sing-alongs. On the setlist, it's easy to trace the path that has led them from early records such as Tutti Assolti, Combat Circus, and Mazel Tov to the more melodic evolutions of And The Winner Isn't and Locktown, without losing the direct edge of the Italian-language lyrics: politics, antifascism, social issues, precarity, and the portrayal of everyday life that makes no concessions. A concert to be lived among the people, where energy and substance go hand in hand.
