Jarocin was not just a festival – in the 1980s and the early 1990s it became a place where Polish rock and punk gained meaning, and independent music spoke plainly about freedom and rebellion. The cycle 'There Was Once Jarocin' returns to that energy and recalls the bands that matured on that scene together with the audience.
On December 11, 2026, at Klub B90 in Gdańsk, artists from different shades of guitar-based playing will meet. Farben Lehre, punk-reggae-influenced and direct, will perform material that over the years has built their position—from Jarocin-era successes to decades of concerts to come. Additionally, Proletaryat with a heavier, harsher edge, Sex Bomba with a punk edge, and Daab, who will add his distinctive, more melodic atmosphere. This will be an evening for those who remember Jarocin, and for those who want to discover where the strength of this scene came from.
