On March 10, 2027, The Dead South bring their ragged, roots-driven sound to University of Wolverhampton at The Halls in Wolverhampton. The Regina quartet have built a reputation on a twisty blend of bluegrass, folk and Americana, played with the kind of forward momentum that feels closer to a punk show than a heritage set. Banjos, mandolins, guitars and cello lock into tight, fast patterns while the voices stack up in sharp harmonies, always with that sly, sideways edge that’s become their signature.
