La Maison Tellier returns to the stage at La Loco to present its eighth album, a blend of vintage flavors and modern textures, of pop and rock, of the Old Continent and the New World.
The five musicians continue to explore the beauty of being alive, the joy of never failing to keep their promise: to make the music they love, to love the music they make. The album title La Timidité des arbres is a nod to 16 Horsepower's final album. It celebrates their love of folk music, from Calexico's Tex-Mex mariachi to Shane MacGowan's misty ballads, and the scorching dust of Ali Farka Touré, and their love of humans, even when people mess things up.
