On March 25, 2027, at La Rayonne, Kalandra arrives with her distinctive blend of alternative rock and atmospheric folk, carried by Katrine Stenbekk's clear voice. Between electric and acoustic guitars, ambient swells and sharper, more nerve-racking pulses, the band plays with contrasts: stripped-back tracks that stretch out, then crescendos where the melody swells. From the EP Borders to the albums The Line and A Frame of Mind, Kalandra has shaped a Nordic, cinematic universe, at once tense and misty, that speaks as much to fans of contemplative rock as to those who love soundtrack-like atmospheres.
Opening act, Finnegan Tui (New Zealand-born, based in London) offers indie folk threaded with discreet electronics and ambient. His music advances in slow steps, built on minimalist textures, layered choirs, and intimate writing. On stage, he leans into the dynamics of silences and gradual builds, in the vein of his EP Zephyr: a nuanced set, ideal for settling in before Kalandra’s full-length album.
