On December 10, 2026, bar italia bring their London-made indie rock to the 100 Club for a show that’s all about tension, restraint, and sudden release. The trio—Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton—have built their identity on muted guitars, minimalist bass lines, and vocals that pass between them like a restless conversation. Their songs sit somewhere between post-punk, slowcore and scrappy indie rock: steady tempos, raw edges left in, and hooks that often come from repetition rather than big choruses.
After moving from low-key early releases to a bigger step with Matador and the 2023 albums Tracey Denim and The Twits, they’ve kept the same stripped-back core.
