On November 2, 2026, as part of the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, DIIV will take the Badaboum stage in Paris with their guitars. Born in Brooklyn around Zachary Cole Smith, the band has since carved out its own path, straddling dream pop, indie rock and shoegaze, with a blend of hazy atmospherics and tension that owes as much to guitar textures as to melodies that linger. On stage, DIIV embraces the contrasts: an airy foundation, pulse-quickening rhythms, and a rougher energy inherited from Deceiver (2019), extended on Frog in Boiling Water (2024). A concert conceived as a single block, where the sound can become abrasive without losing its sense of the chorus, and where labels matter less than momentum. An opening act has been announced.
