The Wailers come to Bremen on 12 August 2027 to the Seebühne Bremen and bring reggae’s history to the stage as a live band. From the beginnings in Trench Town, Kingston, where Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer, and Peter Tosh in the early 1960s shaped their sound between Ska, Rocksteady, and the first reggae sketches, there emerged a group that set worldwide standards with tight harmonies and a deep groove. By the time they worked on the great songs from the era of Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Wailers had become a synonym for roots reggae. After Marley’s death, the name stayed alive: musicians from the band’s circle carried the legacy forward as a touring outfit, shaped by the rhythmic foundation of the Barrett brothers and later by Aston
