After five years away from the stage, Cock Robin hits the road again with a tour conceived as a return to their roots: [85-89]. On 4 April 2027 in Lille, at the Casino Barrière de Lille, the band will perform exclusively material from its first three albums, the ones that established its pop-rock grammar tinged with new wave and crisp melodies. Created in San Francisco around Peter Kingsbery and his tightly crafted writing, Cock Robin has built itself on the call-and-response between voices and on songs that move forward as much through keyboards as guitars, along with a distinctly 80s sensibility. On stage, this tight setlist promises a no-nonsense concert, centered on the 1985-1989 period: straight-ahead tracks, memorable choruses, and a very simple way of building emotion without overdoing it.
