Working in different forms, the three acts engage with sound as a material that can be embodied and rethought, through composition, synthetic systems, language and performance.
Since his emergence on Raster-Noton, Grischa Lichtenberger has carved a path through digital music, rendering technological debris into latticeworks of sound. His music exists at the intersection of abstraction and tactility, bristling with the erratic energy of a hard drive on the verge of collapse. Beneath the digital brutalism, there is a sensitivity to decay and the fragility of memory encoded in corrupted data streams.
BK United is the experimental electronic duo of longtime crime partners Amit Dagim and Avraham Kober. Their work combines modular synthesis, rhythmic abstraction and digital sound processing. Together, they develop a shared approach to pseudo-acoustic synthesis, using digital instruments to create sounds with physical and animal qualities.
Hilde is working between poetry, performance and electronic music, her practice moves through glitch, desire and digital ghosts. Her spoken word music performances sound like messages from a world we half remember but have not lived yet: part glitch-spell, part soft riot against clean binaries.
