The Snuts are heading to Dublin on January 28, 2027, at The Academy, with their alternative rock born in Whitburn, Scotland, and sharpened on the road. An indie four-piece with taut guitars, they rely on direct songwriting and hooks that catch quickly, driven by a vocal tone with a distinctly Scottish bite and an energy clearly tailored for the live stage. Since their indie beginnings, the band has earned a spot in British indie by chalking up a string of gigs and festivals, without letting go of the compact guitar-bass-drums format. On record, W.L. (2021) establishes the mix of rock tension and pop-rock efficiency; Burn the Empire (2022) densifies the sound and makes it more direct, while Millennials (2024) opens the door to textures that are more pop and electronic. On stage, all of this is evident in a set that alternates nervousness, melodies, and a rising collective energy.
