Ministry are set to perform at the O2 Victoria Warehouse Manchester on April 6, 2027, with "Hate To Go, Goodbye Europe 2027". Led from the outset by Al Jourgensen, the group has undergone several incarnations, from the synth-pop/new wave of its early days to a hard-edged industrial metal built on mechanical rhythms, thrash guitars, and abrasive electronic textures. From Twitch to Psalm 69, and on to the more recent records where textures become harsher and the themes more political, Ministry continues to walk this tightrope between machine and live performance, with a hammered riff sensibility and a tension that has become their hallmark on stage.
Die Krupps open the night, with their German industrial formula born in Düsseldorf in the early 1980s. With Jürgen Engler at the helm, the project laid the foundations of physical EBM before welding programming and heavy guitars in the early 1990s, in a signature industrial metal register. Between repetitive pulsations, workers' imagery, and political angles, Die Krupps preserves this steel sound, tailored for the stage.
