Tyla lands at the O2 Academy Glasgow on October 18, 2026, with The A*Pop World Tour. Born in Edenvale and raised east of Johannesburg, the South African singer has built her sound since 2019: English-language pop that glides over amapiano rhythms, with R&B inflections and touches of Afrobeat. Initially spotted at home with Getting Late, she followed with a string of transitional tracks (Overdue, To Last, Been Thinking) before taking things to another level in 2023 with Water, a pivotal track that established her signature on a global pop format.
Since then, Tyla has continued to broaden her scope: international opening slots, TV appearances, collaborations, then a self-titled debut album in 2024, followed by an expanded edition and an EP in 2025.
