On December 3, 2026, at the Théâtre Olympia in Arcachon, Erik Truffaz will unfold this jazz that is at once urban and open, where the trumpet leads the dance between improvisation and contemporary textures. With his penchant for quartet formats and grooves that are firmly anchored, he moves between pared-down melodies, enveloping keyboards, and rhythms that flirt with pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. This very personal approach to cohabiting cinematic atmospheres and on-stage energy remains faithful to the thread of jazz.
On the same bill, Antonio Lizana brings his flamenco-jazz nourished by Andalusia. A saxophonist, singer, and composer, he lets the cante and the traditional palos dialogue with contemporary harmonies and improvisation. On stage, he alternates saxophone, singing, and spoken word, like a musical narrative in motion, where the Andalusian rhythm rubs shoulders with a more Mediterranean writing and colors from elsewhere.
