A Canadian musician, sound artist and teacher based in Berlin, Deadbeat (Scott Monteith) is a figure in contemporary electronic music, with more than 22 albums to his name and a rich, cohesive discography that blends dub, techno and sonic experimentation. Archivist of dub and DJ, he has collaborated with Red Bull Music Academy, Ableton and Native Instruments, and continues, after a career of over 20 years, to explore the boundaries of his art.
Tikiman (Paul St. Hilaire), a singer and producer originally from Dominica and based in Berlin, is a central figure in dub techno, recognized for helping shape the vocal and spiritual identity of the genre alongside Rhythm & Sound and the Basic Channel circle. Scion, a Berlin-based duo active since the mid-1990s, completes this line-up for a dub techno experience: slow, physical and designed for sound systems.
