On July 29, 2026, Sanguisugabogg lands at Rock n’Eat in Lyon for a show dedicated to the most uncompromising death metal. The Columbus, Ohio-based band has carved out a place by injecting brutal death and slam-influenced riffs into grooves: heavy tempos, short riffs that insist, crisp breaks, and guttural vocals up front. From their early underground releases to newer material, they’ve kept the same approach: straight to the impact, no frills, with unapologetic gore imagery and a distinctive way of getting the pit moving. Joining them, Tortured Sacrament will complete the bill with old-school death metal, dark and compact, designed for efficiency. Abyssal Blast is also announced to push the dial further toward dense atmospheres and guitars that pound. A night for those who love dense, dry, and physical sounds.
