On November 14, 2026 at Petit Bain, Alewya comes to perform on stage a music that travels between worlds, propelled by a single energy: the voice, the rhythm and the imagery. Born in Saudi Arabia to an Ethiopian mother and an Egyptian-Sudanese father, she spent time in Sudan before growing up in London, building a universe where African and Arab heritages intersect, British alternative scenes and electronic textures. She herself says: she paints with sound, by feeling, more than by rule.
Revealed with the EP Panther in Mode (2021), with its dry percussion, spoken word and club tension, Alewya now continues with ZERO, a more introspective album, partly self-produced, that plays with the idea of deconstruction and creative freedom. On stage, this approach takes on another dimension: bass that pounds, a voice that cuts through, and a presence that links instinct, body and narrative.
