Dea Matrona lands in Toulouse for a show at the Rex in Toulouse, on Wednesday, March 24, 2027. Born in Belfast around Orláith Forsythe and Mollie McGinn, the band first forged themselves on the ground, by instinct, between competitions, covers and street sessions, before making the stage their true laboratory. After 'For Your Sins,' their debut album released in 2024, Dea Matrona continues to move forward by focusing on cohesion and the road, with an identity built through live performances. Their next record, 'Hate That I Care' (announced for June 5, 2026), delves into more personal and political themes, between feeling set apart, identity and self-assertion, without abandoning this blend of nostalgic pop-rock and contemporary lucidity. On stage, the band transforms these tensions into nerve-wracking and singable tracks, driven by obvious chemistry and a genuine mastery of the live performance.
