Info
Astels, a French duo formed in the early 2020s around a vocalist and a multi-instrumentalist, pursue a clear concept: to make funk, jazz and 80s–90s R&B converse with today’s production. After the EP Lost In A New Era, their path becomes clearer with singles such as Drive To You, Lonely, or Promised Land, followed by their first album, The Meeting, released in April 2025. A project conceived autonomously, balancing writing, studio work and live performance, which has grown in scope across concerts in France and Europe.
Émile Londonien, a Strasbourg-based trio born within the Omezis collective, has been forged at the crossroads of house, broken beat and a very vibrant jazz. Early on they caught the attention, notably thanks to their early tracks picked up by the BBC and supported by Gilles Peterson; they keep releasing projects without breaking the link with improvisation and ensemble playing: Legacy and its guests (Kuna Maze, Léon Phal, Emile Parisien), then Dreaming in Colors, MNK and Three Roses with CHERISE and Ivan Conti. Join them on December 17, 2026 at La Nouvelle Vague, in Saint-Malo, for an evening where grooves meet harmonies and electronic textures.
