Pure Garage brings its turntables to Birmingham on 17 October 2026, at XOYO Birmingham, with a line-up that spans the golden age of UK garage and its club extensions. The idea is simple: 2-step, rounded basslines, R&B hooks, and that quintessentially English edge that propelled pirate radio and dancefloors to new heights in the late 1990s.
Headlining, Artful Dodger brings back the DNA of the classics that defined the genre, between chopped grooves, effective hooks and MC energy. Alongside them, DJ Luck & MC Neat revisit the formula that marked the turning point of 2000: a nervy, festive garage selection, driven by the MCs' flow and the direct impact of live performance.
The rest of the lineup completes the picture with Heartless Crew, Lisa Maffia & Romeo, Oxide & Neutrino, Shola Ama, Sweet Female Attitude and EL-J: a blend of DJs, MCs and vocalists that gave UKG its hybrid edge, at once club, street and pop.
