Bénabar returns to the stage with Le soleil des absents, a new album that extends what he does best: telling everyday life without fuss, with characters, sharp details, and that sense of rhythm that turns an ordinary stage into a real song. An author and performer with a narrative writing style, he slides from humor, tenderness, and a touch of irony into stories in which we quickly recognize ourselves.
